About the Division of Human Resources
The Division of Human Resources is a multifaceted Division that provides a diverse range of human resource, industrial relations and support services for staff of CQUniversity.

The Division is divided into several organisational work units:
- Directorate, provides:
- Oversight of the Division by the Director
- Administrative Support to the Division
- HR Services, provides:
- Salaries/Payroll administration to CQUniversity
- Superannuation services and advice
- Recruitment/Advertising of position vacancies to CQUniversity
- Administration of Senior Appointments Committees
- Administration of the Academic Promotions Round
- HR Planning & Development, provides:
- Professional Development activities for CQUniversity employees
- HR Benchmarking
- Workforce Planning/Job Evaluation/Work Design
- Workforce Management to CQUniversity
- Organisational Change advice and support services
- Equity & Diversity support services across CQUniversity
- Disability support services
- Employment Relations, provides:
- Management and coordination of Employee/Industrial Relations matters
- Advice to staff on work-related matters
- Advice on discrimination legislation
- Advice on workplace agreements

- Health & Safety Unit, provides:
- Health & Safety initiatives across CQUniversity
- Education and Training in Health & Safety matters
- Support services for the CQUniversity Health & Safety Committee
- Crisis Management and Recovery
- Employee Assistance Program (Counselling/Legal Advice)
